QuikWave systems are designed to play back standard WAV and/or MP3 files in their native formats without transcoding and/or format conversion. Therefore, the playback quality is simply as good as the original’s.
QuikWave systems are totally self contained and operates with a single voltage power supply. Playback can be triggered with push buttons, relay closures, motion sensors, PLCs and etc. Some models can be controlled via a serial port.
Flash Card Technology
Most models utilize flash card that is easy to program/install and readily available in various capacities.
Text File Based System Configuration
Through the use of a simple text file, most models can be easily configured to operate in many different modes, ranging from the default push button mode to the advanced script mode. Hundreds of sound files can be accessed randomly or sequentially, depending on the mode of operation.
Audio-n-ActionTM Control
Some models offer built-in relays for controlling external devices such as solenoids, lights, motors and etc. With our Audio-n-Action technology, these actions can be orchestrated in perfect synchronization with the audio. Basic Audio-n-Action control allows the relays to be turned on/off before and/or after, but not during, the audio playback. Advanced Audio-n-Action control allows the relays to be turned on/off at any time.
Audio-n-Action Programming Support
Basic Audio-n-Action is programmed through the use of text file based script mode. Advanced Audio-n-Action is programmed with the QWAplay software which is capable of embedding relay control info into the WAV file.
Typical Applications
* Audio and action for displays, exhibits and haunted houses
* Automatic PA announcements
* Sound output for gaming, vending and amusement equipment
